From invitation
to watching.
Use the same Plex account for your invitation and every device.
1. Use your invite
Open the link from your host and enter the email on your Plex account.

No account yet? Create a free Plex account (new tab), then return to your invite.
2. Accept in Plex
Open the invitation email from Plex and accept. You can also sign in to Plex Web and open Settings → Manage Library Access.

On a computer, use Plex in your browser. On a TV, search its app store for Plex. Sign in with the account you used for the invitation.
These links open a new tab. Look for the Aldermetric Plex server in your Plex library navigation.
Need a hand?
I can’t see the libraries
Confirm you accepted the invitation with the same Plex email. Look for the Aldermetric Plex server in your library navigation. Contact your host if it is still missing.
No invitation email arrived
Check spam. Sign in to Plex Web and open Settings → Manage Library Access. If you cannot find the invitation there, contact your host before submitting again.
The invite link has expired
Ask the person who sent it for a fresh link. A link’s expiry is separate from an existing member’s access.
Plex asks me to pay
A Plex account is free. Remote video playback requires a qualifying subscription on the server owner’s or viewer’s account. Ask your host to check the server’s coverage.
Playback stops or buffers
Tell your host the device, title, and time of the problem. Those details help them check the connection and server.
